Yoga for Tight Hips
This 23 minute hip opening practice is for my people who are suffering from tight hips. Tight hips may contribute to low back pain, so it's really important to loosen up if you're tight! In the video, we'll start with a centering, and then move into poses to open the inner thighs, hamstrings, quads, and more. Don't forget that Namaslay has hundreds of yoga pose break downs if you're looking to get more into poses!
In this day and age, it's all about instant gratification which can be really tough for people who are dealing with things like tight hips. Unfortunately, developing mobility and flexibility takes time. Your hips will not be forever loosened by just doing this video once. For real mobility and true flexibility, it's vital to stretch frequently throughout the week. If you've working on opening up the hips, I'd recommend doing this video at least two to three times per week and would imagine you'd see results within six to nine weeks. Slow and steady wins the race, my friends. Give it a try and let me know how it goes for you down in the comments section below.
