I have a hard time imagining what could possibly be better than enjoying a slice of pizza without feeling even an ounce of guilt for doing so. Thankfully, that’s no pipe dream. It's a reality thanks to awesome paleo recipes like this chewy coconut flour pizza crust.

It’s crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside, and it doesn’t take hours and hours to make. Ever since I started making my pizzas with this crust, I haven’t looked back. This pizza crust uses a few other choice ingredients like garlic and onion powder that help to keep it both healthy and paleo friendly while adding a big amount of flavor as well.

Pizza Crust That’s Packed Full of Addictive Flavor

There are two main steps to making this pizza crust after preheating your oven and getting the cake pans ready. The first involves mixing your coconut flour, garlic powder, onion powder, and baking powder together in a bowl. This mixture is exactly what makes this pizza crust so addicting, as it combines the potent flavor provided by the garlic and onion with a hint of coconut with each and every bite. Of course, these powders don’t just provide a lot of flavor to the crust. They’re all incredibly healthy as well.

Garlic and onion both contain a compound known as allicin, which has several antioxidants and anti-inflammatory benefits. Both garlic and onions have also been found to be incredibly beneficial when it comes to helping prevent cancer. (1) Meanwhile, the coconut flour adds plenty of essential nutrients as well. It’s an excellent source of dietary fiber, protein, and healthy fats.

After preparing your coconut flour mixture, the next step is to combine your eight egg whites with a little bit of salt. Once soft peaks have formed, you can gradually begin to beat in your coconut flour mix until everything is well combined. Finally, add in the olive oil (and if you really want to enjoy a great tasting crust, consider making your very own garlic infused olive oil with this recipe). After mixing everything together, you’re all set to bake your pizza crusts in the oven for about 15-20 minutes.
