Banana Nut Waffles

Pancakes and waffles are so easy to “hide” nutrient rich fruits and nuts!  Hiding nutritious foods really is just adding them to foods that your kids already like.  On Saturday we set out to make our typical waffle recipe, but this time, puréed some banana, and ground up some walnuts for a little extra nutrient hiding, and the kids loved them!

However, this recipe makes a TON of waffles.  I always make them all and freeze the leftovers.  We can eat these for several more days by just popping them in the toaster.
